About

A journey through the Quebrada de Humahuaca, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, where the multicolored tones of the mountains blend with the rich cultural and ancestral heritage of the region.

The excursion begins in the small town of Purmamarca, where we admire the famous Hill of Seven Colors. We then continue to the town of Tilcara.

The journey continues to Huacalera, where we cross the Tropic of Capricorn, an area from which we can observe the colors of the mountain known as La Pollera de la Colla.

In Uquía, we visit its historic church, home to the famous paintings of the Archangel Warriors, a valuable example of the Cuzco School.

We then arrive in Humahuaca, where we visit its impressive cathedral and the Monument to Independence (El Indio), created by sculptor Soto Avendaño. After lunch (not included), we begin the journey east along Provincial Route 73, crossing the agricultural valleys of Coctaca.

The road climbs to 4,200 meters above sea level, where we reach the spectacular Hornocal Viewpoint, offering a unique panoramic view of the multicolored mountain range known as the Mountain Range of the 14 Colors.
