The Standard Wine Route is a tour through the traditional wineries of Cafayate, where we discover the history and characteristics of wine production in the Calchaquí Valley.

We visit selected wineries to learn about the winemaking process, the region’s vineyards, and the characteristics of high-altitude wines. The experience includes wine tastings, allowing us to discover some of the varieties that have made Cafayate one of Argentina’s most renowned wine-producing destinations.

The tour also includes a visit to the Museum of Vine and Wine, where we learn about the history and development of viticulture in the region through an interactive and cultural experience.

The excursion combines wine, history, culture, and the landscapes of the Calchaquí Valley.

Transportation, visits to the wineries included in the itinerary, wine tastings, admission to the Museum of Vine and Wine, and a bilingual Spanish/English guide throughout the tour.

Lunch, additional beverages, sunscreen, a hat, water, and any unspecified personal expenses are not included.

Comfortable footwear, sunscreen, a hat or cap, water, and a light jacket are recommended. A camera or cell phone with sufficient battery is also recommended to capture the vineyards, wineries, and landscapes of Cafayate.
