About

The excursion takes us to Simoca, a traditional town in the province of Tucumán, famous for its historic fair and its deep-rooted rural traditions.
We visit the Simoca Fair, one of the most traditional popular fairs in northern Argentina, where local producers and artisans gather to offer regional products, handicrafts, traditional foods, and other products representative of Tucumán’s rural culture.
We then continue to Lules, where we visit the historic Jesuit complex and discover the remains and heritage associated with the Jesuit presence in the region. The site provides an opportunity to learn about the history and cultural development of this area.
The excursion combines history, local traditions, gastronomy, handicrafts, and cultural heritage in two destinations with strong regional identity.

Comfortable footwear, sunscreen, a hat or cap, water, and a light jacket are recommended. It is also advisable to bring some cash for purchases at the fair and a camera or cell phone with sufficient battery to capture the local atmosphere, handicrafts, and historic sites.
