About

The excursion takes us to the mountainous area west of San Miguel de Tucumán, exploring the natural landscapes and traditional villages located in the foothills of the San Javier mountain range.
We visit San Javier, a picturesque mountain destination surrounded by the lush vegetation of the Yungas, where we can enjoy panoramic views of Tucumán and the surrounding valleys.
We then continue to Villa Nougués, a charming mountain village known for its architecture, gardens, and peaceful atmosphere.
The tour continues to the Horco Molle Reserve, a protected natural area dedicated to the conservation of native fauna and flora. During the visit, we can observe representative species of the region and learn about the biodiversity of the Tucumán Yungas.
An ideal excursion for those looking to combine nature, wildlife, mountain landscapes, and the traditional villages of Tucumán.

Recommendations

Comfortable footwear, sunscreen, a hat or cap, water, and a light jacket are recommended. Insect repellent is also advisable due to the humid forest environment. A camera or cell phone with sufficient battery is recommended for photographing the wildlife, vegetation, and panoramic views.
