A journey through the Calchaquí Valley combining archaeological heritage, indigenous culture, and the wine traditions of northern Argentina.
We visit the Quilmes Ruins, one of the most important pre-Hispanic archaeological sites in Argentina. We explore the remains of this ancient settlement and learn about the history, traditions, and way of life of the Quilmes people.
We then continue through the Calchaquí Valley towards the region’s renowned vineyards and wineries. We discover the characteristics of high-altitude viticulture and taste local wines, including the famous Torrontés.
The excursion combines history, culture, archaeology, wine, and spectacular mountain landscapes, making it an ideal experience for those who want to discover the cultural and gastronomic heritage of the Calchaquí Valley.
