About
Departing from Tilcara, we travel the 42 kilometers that separate it from Humahuaca. From there, we take Provincial Route 73, which winds through the agricultural valleys of Coctaca, an area with a long-standing Andean farming tradition.
We then continue ascending along a mountain road that reaches 4,200 meters above sea level, where the spectacular Hornocal Viewpoint is located. From here, we enjoy panoramic views of the famous Hornocal Mountain Range, known for its impressive multicolored formation.
The landscape allows us to appreciate the distinctive geography, history, and terrain of the Quebrada de Humahuaca region.
A unique attraction that is well worth visiting.
