1 About

About

We depart from the city and head into the Ambato Mountain Range. We travel through the picturesque El Tala Gorge and, after covering 35 km, arrive at the tourist village of El Rodeo, known for its stone buildings and gardens filled with hydrangeas. We continue along Provincial Route No. 4 to the town of Las Juntas, another of the province’s main tourist villages.

We continue our journey, ascending and getting closer to the clouds and the condors that soar above us. Along the way, we can observe traces of ancestral cultures, such as agricultural terraces and stone walls. Crossing valleys, enclosed basins, and gorges, traveling along winding roads and crossing countless rivers and streams, we enjoy the natural surroundings to the fullest.

We conclude our journey by passing by Las Pirquitas Dam, before returning to the provincial capital.
