About

A journey through the Calchaquí Valley to the historic town of Cachi. The excursion begins in Cafayate, following the legendary National Route 40.

Along the way, we travel through the magnificent Quebrada de las Flechas, where seismic activity and the action of the wind have shaped a landscape of rocky peaks, sharp ridges, and uniquely inclined formations.

Continuing north, we reach the town of Molinos, known for its historic church, which houses the remains of Don Nicolás Severo de Isasmendi, the last royalist governor of Salta. Opposite the church is the historic Hacienda de Molinos, now a regional hotel of great heritage value.

The tour concludes in Cachi, where visitors can explore its colonial church and the Archaeological Museum, which houses pre-Hispanic collections and objects of great cultural significance
