Itineraries

Day 1

Arrival in Buenos Aires

Upon arrival in Buenos Aires, you will be transferred to your hotel by private transport.

A driver holding a sign with your name will take you to your hotel in the city.
Free time for an initial independent tour of the city.

We will provide you with directions for routes you can take on your own.
Overnight stay in Buenos Aires.

Day 2

city tour in Buenos Aires

After breakfast, you will begin a city tour on foot and by public transport, accompanied by an English-speaking guide, lasting approximately 4 hours. Together you will visit the central districts of Puerto Madero, La Boca and San Telmo.

In the afternoon, you will return to the hotel or continue your visit of the city independently; we will provide you with directions to continue your visit.

In the evening, you can immerse yourself in the Buenos Aires nightlife with tango at a venue where you will have dinner and enjoy a tango show with live dancers and musicians. Return transfers included.

Day 3

Going to Puerto Piramides

At the scheduled time, there will be a private transfer to Buenos Aires airport to catch your flight to Trelew.

Upon arrival, you will pick up your hire car at the airport and continue on to the town of Puerto Madryn. You will continue on to the Valdés Peninsula. At the entrance to the ecological reserve, you will visit the Interpretation Centre. Afterwards, you will depart for Puerto Pirámides, travelling along a road from which you can admire the two gulfs and the typical Patagonian landscape. You will reach the charming village of Puerto Pirámides, where you will spend the night.

Day 4

Visit to Peninsula Valdes

After breakfast, if you are on the Peninsula Valdés between June and early December, you can go on a whale watching excursion. You will sail across the gulf on a boat, where you can observe various species of cetaceans.
Afterwards, you will drive to Caleta Valdés to visit its colonies of elephant seals and sea lions. The road and the vast landscape will accompany you throughout the journey.
In the late afternoon, you will reach the town of Puerto Madryn, where you will spend the night.

Day 5

Visit to Punta Tombo Reserve

After breakfast, you will depart for the Punta Tombo reserve, the largest reserve of Magellanic penguins on the mainland. After the visit, you will return to Puerto Madryn. On the way, you can visit the old Welsh colony of Gaiman with its characteristic buildings.

Return and overnight stay in Puerto Madryn.

Day 6

Journey to Ushuaia

At the specified time, you will arrive at Trelew Airport, where you will return your hire car and board your flight to Ushuaia. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 7

Tierra del Fuego National Park, Trekking and Canoeing

You will walk through mountains and forests, following the coastal path until you reach Lake Roca. After lunch (included) and a technical introduction to canoeing, you will canoe down the river towards Lapataia. In the afternoon, you will return to Ushuaia.

Overnight stay in Ushuaia.

Day 8

Sailing through the Beagle Channel

After breakfast, you will discover Sea Lion Island. You will sail through the Beagle Channel, where you will observe a wide variety of Fuegian birdlife and enjoy watching the curious and friendly marine mammals at play. On the way back, you will be able to see the incredible mountain range and the beautiful nature surrounding Ushuaia. This is a route of great historical and scenic interest.

Day 9

Journey to Punta Arenas in Chile

Early in the morning, you will take a scheduled bus (semi-bed service) to Punta Arenas in Chile. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel.
The journey is approximately 628 km long and takes around 10 hours, including the break for customs clearance between Argentina and Chile.
The bus normally leaves at 8 a.m. and is scheduled to arrive at 7 p.m.

Day 10

Sailing to Magdalena Island

You will depart from the Tres Puentes port in Punta Arenas, where you will board the ferry that will sail to Magdalena Island. The journey, which takes about two hours, crosses the legendary Strait of Magellan and offers the opportunity to see various birds native to the region, as well as Magellanic penguins and dolphins.

The island is located 16 nautical miles from Punta Arenas, in a protected area within the Los Pingüinos Natural Monument.
Disembark and visit the area, where you can see the habitat of thousands of penguins, as well as visit the lighthouse, which is a national historic monument.
Return to Punta Arenas, free time.
Overnight in Punta Arenas.

Day 11

Journey to Puerto Natales

After breakfast, travel to Puerto Natales by bus, approximately 250 km.
Upon arrival, check into your hotel where you will be staying overnight.

Day 12

Excursion to Torres del Paine National Park

A day dedicated to exploring Torres del Paine National Park.
The Torres del Paine are granite mountains about 2,000 metres high, a place characterised by its turquoise lakes, streams and rivers, waterfalls and glaciers, dense forests and rich fauna and flora.
Since 1978, Torres del Paine National Park has been an integral part of the United Nations Biosphere Reserve system.
In the afternoon, on the return journey to the hotel in Puerto Natales, there will be a visit to the Cueva del Milodón, a natural monument where the remains of a prehistoric animal were found.

Day 13

Journey to El Calafate

After breakfast, you will depart by bus to the Argentine border at Cancha Carrera. After customs formalities, you will take a connecting bus to El Calafate in Argentina.
Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel.
Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 14

Visit to Perito Moreno Glacier

In the morning, after breakfast, you will depart with a guide for an excursion to Glacier National Park to admire the splendid Perito Moreno Glacier up close. The exploration will take place from balconies on various levels that extend in front of the glacier.
In the afternoon, return trip to El Calafate.
Overnight stay in El Calafate.

Day 15

Navigation to argentinian lake

After breakfast early in the morning, you will be transferred to the Punta Bandera embarkation point, located 40 km from El Calafate. At 9:00 a.m., the cruise begins along the northern arm of Lake Argentino, through the Boca del Diablo, the narrowest point of the lake, until reaching the Upsala Channel, where you will encounter a spectacular ice barrier.

The navigation continues among the icebergs to the front of the Upsala Glacier, which, with an area of 800 km², is four times the size of the city of Buenos Aires.
The next destination is the Spegazzini Glacier, the highest in the National Park.

Return to El Calafate, where you will spend the night.

Day 16

journey to El Chalten

In the morning, after breakfast, you will depart for El Chaltén by door-to-door bus, a journey of about 3.5 hours that will drop you off directly at your hotel.
Once you have checked into your hotel room, you can enjoy some beautiful walks around the village.
Overnight stay in El Chaltén.

El Chaltén is considered the trekking capital.

Return to El Calafate, where you will spend the night.

Day 17

Trekking to Fitz Roy base

After breakfast, you will depart with your guide towards El Pilar, travelling 12 kilometres by car along the Río de las Vueltas. Once you reach your destination, you will begin a 17-kilometre trek through lenga and ñire forests, reaching a viewpoint overlooking the Piedras Blancas glacier. Continuing on, you will reach Poincenot and tackle the 90-minute ascent that will take you to the spectacular Laguna de los Tres, with a unique view of Fitz Roy.
Afterwards, you will begin a short 20-minute descent to reach Full Camp Fitz Roy.

Here you will find local staff who will offer you a snack and then dinner. You will spend the night in a fully equipped tent.

Day 18

2nd day of trekking

The early morning hours at camp are unforgettable, with the Fitz Roy wall turning red. After breakfast, you will leave Full Camp and walk along the Madre y Hija lakes trail, which will take you to the Cerro Torre trail.

You will arrive at the foot of Torre Lake, with a breathtaking view of the Grande Glacier and Cerro Torre. Here you will enjoy a packed lunch provided. Afterwards, you will begin the descent along the Fitz Roy River, which will take you back to the village of El Chaltén, where your adventure will end.

Day 19

Return to Buenos Aires

In the morning, after breakfast, you will depart by bus to El Calafate Airport, where you will take your return flight to Buenos Aires.

Upon arrival, there will be a private transfer to your hotel in Buenos Aires, free time and overnight stay in Buenos Aires.

Day 20

Transfer out

At the appropriate time, based on your flight schedule for your return, there will be a private transfer to the international airport.
